Why Choose My-Prompt?

Executive dysfunction affects the brain’s ability to manage and regulate itself resulting in difficulties with planning, prioritising, organising, motivation, recall and regulating emotions. It is typically experienced by individuals who have neurodevelopmental conditions such as Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), brain injury or mental health conditions.

With so many workplace support tools to choose from, you may wonder what sets My-Prompt apart.  My-Prompt is a resources orientated Executive Function tool that has been developed by industry experts with decades of experience in neurodivergence and mental health, with particular specialism in ADHD and ASC.

My-Prompt’s features are supported by gold-standard research into executive dysfunction.  It is a comprehensive resources orientated package with a simple design and functionality to avoid overwhelm.

Employees will be able to use the tool for assistance with planning, prioritising, time management, motivation, focusing, memory and wellbeing.

Quite simply, My-Prompt is a one-stop shop for Executive Function.

Supporting Your Workforce

My-Prompt’s features are not just informed by gold-standard research.  The tool has also been shaped from years of experience of supporting neurodiverse individuals. Some of our most effective skills and wellbeing strategies feature within the different app zones.  The app has also been designed to reduce overwhelm.  It’s design and functions are straightforward to navigate and easy to use.

“I don’t want to use assistive technology when I have to put more into it than I get out of it.”

In the workplace, employees with Executive Dysfunction may struggle with tasks that relate to prioritising and organising.  The My-Goals zone will assist with identifying tasks that need to be prioritised, and breaking these down into manageable steps.   Self-appointed rewards will keep employees motivated, as will their successfully completed tasks appearing on their success timeline.  Employees can also choose to be prompted when working on tasks which will reduce distraction, as will the app’s inbuilt pomodoro.

Executive Function in the Workplace

It’s important to recognise the skills that employees with Executive Dysfunction can bring to the workplace.  These can include creativity, tenacity, the ability to hyperfocus and pay attention to detail and interpersonal skills.  Sometimes the smallest of changes can help employees to harness their skills.

Positivity is at the heart of My-Prompt so employees’ confidence in their abilities can be built meaning they can flourish in the workplace.    Employees can choose to be supported and encouraged by the My-Prompt chick (which they can opt to replace with a help symbol) who celebrates every success.  Push notifications can be selected to be delivered throughout the day, providing positive affirmations and words of encouragement.

A popular feature of My-Prompt is our library of wellbeing videos which are designed specifically to be low stimulation, visually appealing, accessible and optimal for an impaired attention span.  Topics cover areas such as managing anxiety, communication, boosting performance and sustaining behaviour change. New videos are released every month so employees can build their own bespoke range of topics.

“I usually loathe assistive tech as it’s never as good as it’s supposed to be. This was different. It was actually helpful and easy to use.”

“My-prompt is not clunky and doesn’t require multiple apps or software to access different bits of support. It exists all in one place”
